My work explores the intersection of that moment of comprehension analysis, which is the realization of a state of psychological separation from others, in turn thus becoming “the other”. The person (or concept of a personality) caught in a reoccurring tape loop of existential recognition is not only forced by the society they exist within to be alone in a crowd, also the individual chooses to separate themselves from the society surrounding them. Isolation, alienation, and the existence of a parallel reality that physically exists simultaneously along side of another yet, cannot communicate with the other.
