MFA STUDENTS FROM CSULB PRESENT TWO CONCURRENT ART EVENTS

The FINE ARTS ROUNDTABLE (FAR) is a graduate student collective of visual artists, art historians, performing artists, graphic designers, and writers from the College of the Arts committed to facilitating exchange between CSULB graduates and the greater Los Angeles area.

OPEN STUDIOS 2012

On Sunday, Sept. 2nd, 2012, from 4-8pm, visitors are invited to tour CSULB's graduate art studios, see works in progress, ask questions, and interact with approximately 30 artists working in ceramics, drawing, fiber, illustration, intermedia/sculpture, metals, painting, photography, and printmaking. Maps of the studios will be available at the CSULB gallery and studio complex.

GLAMFA 2012

At the same time and place, there will be an opening reception for Greater LA MFA: A Student to Student Invitational Exhibition 2012. GLAMFA is in its eigthth year of curating work by graduate students from art programs throughout the greater Los Angeles area. For more information please visit greaterlamfa.com.
