BIOGRAPHY
Autobiographical moments of leisurely events in nature are a common theme in my work. My paintings are about the optimistic, celebratory view I have of nature and also about a longing and desire to access it. Taking advantage of outdoor activities often requires long distance driving amidst a backdrop of strip malls and concrete. It is through painting that I wish to examine the idea of the daydream as an antidote.
