ARTIST STATMENT
Through my work I engage within the context of Contemporary Feminism. I use the history of painting to add another layer of discourse to the exploration of my own agenda. In my most recent work I’m interested in Identity formation and personas explored by people. Through my imagination and family snapshots I create abstracted narratives. My goal is to offer the viewer an honest struggle with my materials and content.
