ARTIST STATEMENT
I am interested in creating a physical experience that serves as a catalyst for a mental experience. I attempt to create objects and installations within which the viewer becomes a participant in the artwork- at once an integral, indispensable element, and at the same time only one facet of a larger experience. I am interested in the active relationship between the viewer and my art: specifically in what the viewer brings to an artwork and what is returned: the reward, pain, and/or frustration of interaction.
