ARTIST STATEMENT
Research is the root of my practice. The investigation of materials, their history, social context, and the processes of labor have always been a driving force in my work. Through manipulation, juxtaposition, and context, I am able to aggregate systems of codification where meaning vacillates between many specific and sometimes paradoxical modes of presence.
