ARTIST STATEMENT
In my artwork I'm interested in the convergence of reality with my imagination. The sum of the images that I'm drawn to and the shapes and brushstrokes that happen in and around the images become something other than what they started out as.  I'm interested in the presence that happens when things combine and morph into something else. The process always reveals something that I'm inspired by, though what the work is trying to express at times remains hidden.
